Request#
The borrower proposes a later future date for an outstanding obligation. The request records the old date and schedule version.
Approve#
The lender approves that exact request. Remaining installments shift with the approved change. A request against an outdated schedule must be reviewed again.
Preserve history#
The audit record keeps the before-and-after schedule and approver. An extension agreed after a deadline does not erase lateness already incurred. Pending requests do not change the current due date.
